Hadith 895:1
Isma'il narrated to us, Ayyub narrated to us, from Humayd ibn Hilal, who said: 'Ubadah ibn Qurṭ said: "You commit things that are finer in your eyes than a hair, which we used to consider, during the time of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), among the destructive sins." He said: So they mentioned that to Muhammad, and he said: "He spoke the truth. I consider the trailing of the lower garment to be one of them."
حدثنا إسماعيل، حدثنا أيوب، عن حميد بن هلال، قال: قال عبادة بن قرط: " إنكم تأتون أشياء هي أدق في أعينكم من الشعر، كنا نعدها على عهد رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم، الموبقات " قال: فذكروا ذلك لمحمد، فقال: " صدق، أرى جر الإزار منه "
