Hadith 895:3
'Affan narrated to us, Sulayman ibn al-Mughirah narrated to us, from Humayd ibn Hilal, Abu Qatadah narrated to us, from 'Ubadah ibn Qurs or Qurt: "You perform deeds today that are, in your eyes, finer than a hair, [yet] we used to consider them, during the time of the Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace), among the destructive sins." I said to Abu Qatadah: "Then what if he had lived to see this time of ours?" Abu Qatadah said: "He would have said more than that."
حدثنا عفان، حدثنا سليمان بن المغيرة، عن حميد بن هلال، حدثنا أبو قتادة، عن عبادة بن قرص أو قرط: " إنكم لتعملون اليوم أعمالا هي أدق في أعينكم من الشعر، كنا نعدها على عهد رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم من الموبقات "، فقلت لأبي قتادة: فكيف لو أدرك زماننا هذا؟ فقال أبو قتادة: " لكان لذلك أقول "
