Musnad Ahmad 1076:4

Yahya ibn Sa'id narrated to us, from Uthman, a man narrated to us in the circle of Abu Uthman, he said: Sa'd, the freed slave of the Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace), narrated to me that they were commanded to fast on a day. Then a man came during part of the day and said: "O Messenger of Allah, such-and-such woman and such-and-such woman have been overcome by exhaustion." So he turned away from him, and he mentioned the hadith.
