Musnad Ahmad 574:5

Muhammad ibn Ja‘far narrated to us, Shu‘bah narrated to us, from Mansur, from Tamim ibn Salamah, from ‘Ubayd ibn Khalid al-Sulami—and he was one of the companions of the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace—who said: "Sudden death is a seizure of anger."
