Musnad Ahmad 422:1

Abdullah ibn Ahmad said: Ismail ibn Ibrahim Abu Ma’mar al-Hudhali narrated to me, Sa’id ibn Khuthaym al-Hilali narrated to us, he said: My grandmother, Umm Abi Rabi’ah bint ‘Iyad al-Kilabiyyah, narrated to me, From her grandfather, ‘Ubaydah ibn ‘Amr al-Kilabi, he said: I saw the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, while he was performing ablution, and he performed the ablution thoroughly. And she, when she performed ablution, would perform the ablution thoroughly until she would lift her head covering and wipe over her head.
