Musnad Ahmad 467:4

Waki’ narrated to us, from Sufyan, who said: And Abu al-Walid Hisham and ‘Affan narrated to us, they said: Abu ‘Awanah narrated to us, from ‘Abd al-Malik—‘Affan said: ‘Abd al-Malik ibn ‘Umayr narrated to us—from Ibn ‘Amarah ibn Ruwaybah, from his father, from the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, that he said: "He shall not enter the Fire who prays before the rising of the sun and before its setting." And there was a man with him—‘Affan said: from the people of Basra—who said: "Did you hear this from the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him?" He said: "Yes, I bear witness to it from him." He said: "And I bear witness that I heard the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, say it in the place where I heard it from him." ‘Affan said: "In it."
