Musnad Ahmad 467:6

Musa ibn Dawud narrated to us, Zuhayr narrated to us, from Husayn ibn Abd al-Rahman al-Sulami, who said: I was beside Umarah ibn Ruwaybah while Bishr was delivering a sermon to us. When he supplicated, he raised his hands. Umarah said—meaning: May Allah make these two hands ugly, or these two hands. I saw the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) while he was delivering a sermon; when he supplicated, he would say like this, and he raised the index finger alone.
