Musnad Ahmad 1165:3
Hadith of Umm al-Fadl, the wife of Abbas (RA), and she is the sister of Maymunah (RA).
حديث أم الفضل امرأة عباس، وهي أخت ميمونة رضي الله عنهم
Hadith 1165:3
Ya'qub narrated to us, he said: My father narrated to us, from Ibn Ishaq, he said: And Husayn ibn 'Abdullah ibn 'Abbas narrated to me, from 'Ikrimah, the freed slave of 'Abdullah ibn 'Abbas, from 'Abdullah ibn 'Abbas, from Umm al-Fadl bint al-Harith: That the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) saw Umm Habib bint al-'Abbas, and she was past the age of weaning. She said: So he said, "If this little daughter of al-'Abbas reaches [adulthood] while I am alive, I will surely marry her."
حدثنا يعقوب، قال: حدثنا أبي، عن ابن إسحاق، قال: وحدثني حسين بن عبد الله بن عباس، عن عكرمة، مولى عبد الله بن عباس، عن عبد الله بن عباس، عن أم الفضل بنت الحارث: أن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم رأى أم حبيب بنت عباس، وهي فوق الفطيم، قالت: فقال: " لئن بلغت بنية العباس هذه وأنا حي، لأتزوجنها "
