Hadith 906:10
Ghassan ibn al-Rabi' narrated to us, Abu Zayd Thabit ibn Yazid narrated to us, from Hisham, from Hafsa, from Umm 'Atiyyah, who said: "I was among those who pledged allegiance to the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace. Among what he took from us was that we should not wail, and that we should not speak to men except for a mahram (a man with whom marriage is permanently forbidden)."
حدثنا غسان بن الربيع، حدثنا أبو زيد ثابت بن يزيد، عن هشام، عن حفصة، عن أم عطية، قالت: " كنت فيمن بايع النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم، فكان فيما أخذ علينا أن لا ننوح، ولا نحدث من الرجال إلا محرما "
