Hadith 906:11
Husayn ibn Muhammad narrated to us, Jarir—meaning Ibn Hazim—narrated to us, from Muhammad, from Umm Atiyyah al-Ansariyyah, who said: "The Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) used to command us to bring out the young women of marriageable age, the menstruating women, and the secluded women. As for the menstruating women, they were to keep away from the prayer area, but they were to witness the goodness and the supplication along with the Muslims."
حدثنا حسين بن محمد، حدثنا جرير يعني ابن حازم، عن محمد، عن أم عطية الأنصارية، قالت: " كان رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم يأمرنا أن نخرج العواتق، والحيض، وذوات الخدور، فأما الحيض، فيعتزلن المصلى، ويشهدن الخير، والدعوة مع المسلمين "
