Hadith 1308:1
Sufyan ibn 'Uyaynah narrated to us, 'Ubayd Allah ibn Abi Yazid narrated to us, his father informed him, he said: I stayed with Umm Ayyub, those with whom the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) stayed. I stayed with her, and she narrated this to me from the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him): That they prepared food in which there were some of these vegetables, so they brought it near, but the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) disliked it. He said to his companions: "Eat, for I am not like one of you. I fear that I may offend my companion," meaning the angel.
حدثنا سفيان بن عيينة، حدثنا عبيد الله بن أبي يزيد، أخبره أبوه، قال: نزلت على أم أيوب الذين نزل عليهم رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم، نزلت عليها، فحدثتني بهذا عن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم أنهم تكلفوا طعاما فيه بعض هذه البقول، فقربوه، فكرهه رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم، وقال لأصحابه: " كلوا، إني لست كأحد منكم، إني أخاف أن أوذي صاحبي " يعني الملك
