Hadith 1224:6
'Affan narrated to us, Hammam narrated to us, he said: Muhammad ibn Jahadah narrated to us, he said: Al-Mughirah ibn 'Abdullah al-Yashkuri narrated to me, from his father, he said: I set out to Kufa to import mules. He said: I came to the market, and it had not yet been established. He said: I said to a companion of mine: If only we entered the mosque—and its location at that time was among the date sellers—and behold, there was a man from Qays in it, who was called Ibn al-Muntafiq, and he was saying: The Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) was described to me, and I sought him in Makkah, but it was said to me: He is in Mina. So I sought him in Mina, but it was said to me: He is in 'Arafat. So I reached him and pushed through the crowd to get to him. It was said to me: Move away from the path of the Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace). He said: "Leave the man, for he has a need." He said: So I pushed through the crowd until I reached him. He said: I took hold of the noseband of the mount of the Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace)—or he said: its rein—thus Muhammad narrated, until the necks of our two mounts crossed. He said: The Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) did not rebuke me—or he said: He did not change toward me—thus Muhammad narrated. He said: I said: Two things I ask you about: What will save me from the Fire? And what will cause me to enter Paradise? He said: The Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) looked toward the sky, then lowered his head, then turned his face toward me and said: "If you have been brief in the question, you have certainly made it great and long. So understand from me: Worship Allah, do not associate anything with Him, establish the prescribed prayer, pay the obligatory zakat, fast Ramadan, and whatever you love for people to do for you, do it for them, and whatever you hate for people to come to you with, leave it for the people." Then he said: "Let go of the path of the mount."
