Musnad Ahmad 1273:7

Yahya narrated to us, from Ubaydullah, who said: Nafi’ informed me, from Salim, from Abu al-Jarrah, from Umm Habibah, from the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him: "The angels do not accompany a traveling party that has a bell with it." [Abdullah said:] Abu Bakr ibn Khallad narrated to us, he said: I heard Yahya ibn Sa’id say: Sufyan narrated, from Ubaydullah ibn Umar, from Nafi’, from Ibn Umar, from the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, who said: "The angels do not accompany a traveling party that has a bell with it." He said: So I said to him: "May you be ruined, O Abu Abdullah!" He said to me: "How is it?" I said: "Ubaydullah narrated to me, he said: Nafi’ narrated to me, from Salim, from Abu al-Jarrah, from Umm Habibah, from the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, who said..." He said: "You have spoken the truth."
