Musnad Ahmad 1295:0

Narrated to us by Abd al-Rahman, from Sufyan, from Abu Ishaq, from al-Bara’ ibn ‘Azib, who said: The Prophet (ﷺ) said: "The maternal aunt holds the status of the mother." And he (the Prophet) judged regarding the daughter of Hamzah that she should be given to her maternal aunt, and he said: "The maternal aunt holds the status of the mother."
