Hadith of Umm Khalid bint Khalid ibn Sa‘id ibn al-‘As (RA)

حديث أم خالد بنت خالد بن سعيد بن العاص

Hadith 1183:0

Narrated to us by Yahya ibn Sa'id, from 'Ubaydullah, who said: Narrated to me Umm Khalid bint Khalid ibn Sa'id ibn al-'As, that she heard the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) seeking refuge from the punishment of the grave. Narrated to us by 'Abd al-Rahman, from Malik, from 'Ubaydullah ibn Abi Bakr ibn Anas, from Umm Khalid bint Khalid, that she went with her father to the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ), and she was wearing a yellow shirt. The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "Sanah, sanah." 'Abdullah said: And I think he said: "It is Abyssinian for 'good'." She said: So I began to play with the seal of prophethood, and my father scolded me. The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "Leave her." Then the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) prayed for her, saying: "May you live long and wear it out, and wear it out, and wear it out." 'Abdullah said: She lived for a long time after that.
