Musnad Ahmad 1268:0

It was narrated from Umm Kurz al-Ka‘biyyah al-Khath‘amiyyah that she asked the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) about the ‘aqiqah. He said: "For the boy, two equivalent sheep, and for the girl, one sheep. It does not harm you whether they are male or female."
