'Abd al-Samad, 'Affan, and Bahz narrated to us, they said: Hammam narrated to us, Qatadah narrated to us, from al-Hasan, from Dabbah ibn Mihsan—'Affan and Bahz said: al-'Anazi—from Umm Salamah, that she heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) say: "There will be leaders, you will recognize [some of their actions] and you will disapprove [of others]. Whoever disapproves is safe, and whoever dislikes [them] is absolved, but [the sin is upon] whoever is pleased and follows." They said: "Shall we not fight them?" He said: "No, as long as they pray."
