Hadith of Umm Salamah (RA), the wife of the Prophet (SAW)
حديث أم سلمة زوج النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم
Hadith 1156:145
Waki’ narrated to us, Sufyan narrated to us, from Habib ibn Abi Thabit, from Wahb, the freed slave of Abu Ahmad, from Umm Salamah, that the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, entered upon her while she was covering her head (with a khimar). He said: "A fold, not two folds."
حدثنا وكيع، حدثنا سفيان، عن حبيب بن أبي ثابت، عن وهب، مولى أبي أحمد، عن أم سلمة، أن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم دخل عليها وهي تختمر، فقال: " لية، لا ليتين "
