Hadith of Umm Salamah (RA), the wife of the Prophet (SAW)

Hadith 1156:210

Rawh narrated to us, Ibn Jurayj narrated to us, he said: ‘Ata’ informed us, from Umm Salamah, the wife of the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, she said: I placed ornaments of gold on my neck. The Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, entered and turned away from me. I said: "Will you not look at my adornment?" He said: "I turned away from your adornment." He said: They claimed that he said: "What harm would it do to any one of you if she placed an earring of silver, then colored it with saffron?"
