Abu al-Walid narrated to us, Abu 'Awanah narrated to us, from 'Abd al-Malik—meaning Ibn 'Umayr—from Rib'i ibn Hirash, from Umm Salamah, who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, entered upon me while his face was pale. She said: I thought that was from an ailment, so I said: "O Prophet of Allah, what is the matter with you that your face is pale?" He said: "Because of the seven dinars that came to us yesterday; we reached the evening while they were still in the corner of the bedding."
