Hadith of Umm Salamah (RA), the wife of the Prophet (SAW)
حديث أم سلمة زوج النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم
Hadith 1156:51
Waki’ and ‘Abd al-Rahman narrated to us, from Sufyan, from Habib—meaning Ibn Abi Thabit—from Wahb, the freed slave of Abu Ahmad, from Umm Salamah, that the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, entered upon her while she was covering her head (with a khimar), and he said: "A fold, not two folds."
حدثنا وكيع، وعبد الرحمن، عن سفيان، عن حبيب يعني ابن أبي ثابت، عن وهب مولى أبي أحمد عن أم سلمة، أن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم دخل عليها وهي تختمر فقال: " لية لا ليتين "
