Hadith of Umm Salamah (RA), the wife of the Prophet (SAW)
Hadith 1156:69
Muhammad ibn Ja‘far narrated to us, he said: ‘Awf narrated to us, from Abu al-Mu‘addal ‘Atiyyah al-Tufawi, from his father, that Umm Salamah narrated to him, she said: While the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) was in my house one day, the servant said: "‘Ali and Fatimah are at the threshold." She said: He said to me: "Rise and move aside from my family." She said: So I rose and moved aside in the house, nearby. Then ‘Ali and Fatimah entered, and with them were al-Hasan and al-Husayn, and they were two small boys. He took the two boys and placed them on his lap, and kissed them. He said: And he embraced ‘Ali with one of his hands, and Fatimah with the other hand, and he kissed Fatimah and kissed ‘Ali. Then he draped a black cloak over them and said: "O Allah, to You, not to the Fire, I and my family." She said: I said: "And me, O Messenger of Allah?" He said: "And you."
