Hadith 1156:78

Aswad ibn Amir narrated to us, Sharik narrated to us, from Asim, from Abu Wa'il, from Masruq, from Umm Salamah, who said: The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Among my companions are those whom I will not see, and who will not see me, after I die, ever." She said: This reached Umar, so he came to her running, or hurrying—Shadhan was in doubt—and said to her: "I adjure you by Allah, am I among them?" She said: "No, and I will never absolve anyone after you, ever."

حدثنا أسود بن عامر، حدثنا شريك، عن عاصم، عن أبي وائل، عن مسروق، عن أم سلمة، قالت: قال النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم: " من أصحابي من لا أراه ولا يراني بعد أن أموت أبدا " قال: فبلغ ذلك عمر، قال: فأتاها يشتد، أو يسرع ، شك شاذان، قال: لها : أنشدك بالله، أنا منهم؟ قالت: لا، ولن أبرئ بعدك أحدا أبدا
