Musnad Ahmad 1156:94

'Affan narrated to us, he said: Hammam informed us, he said: We heard from Yahya ibn Abi Kathir, he said: Abu Salamah ibn 'Abd al-Rahman narrated to me, that Zaynab bint Umm Salamah narrated to him, she said: My mother narrated to me, she said: I was with the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, in the *khamilah* (a velvet garment/covering), and I began to menstruate. So I slipped away from the *khamilah*. The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said to me: "Have you menstruated?" I said: "Yes." So I put on my menstruation clothes, then I entered upon the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, [and was] with him in the *khamilah*. She said: "And I used to perform ghusl with the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, from a single vessel." She said: "And he used to kiss while he was fasting."
