Hadith 1265:0
Narrated to us by Abd al-Razzaq, who said: Narrated to us Ma’mar, from al-Zuhri, from ‘Urwah, from ‘Aishah, who said: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "I was shown in a dream that I was in a place with many palm trees, and I thought it was Medina. Then I was told: 'This is your place of migration.' And I saw in it that I was shaking a sword, and its edge broke, and that was the defeat of the believers on the Day of Uhud. Then I shook it again, and it returned to its best state, and that was the victory of Allah and the conquest." And it was narrated from Umm Sharik that she saw in a dream that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "The people of my nation will migrate to a land that will consume the other lands, called Yathrib, which is Medina. It will expel the wicked people from it, just as the bellows expel the dross of iron."
