Hadith 1277:7
'Abd al-Samad narrated to us, Hisham narrated to us, from Qatadah, from 'Ikrimah, who said: Zayd ibn Thabit and Ibn 'Abbas differed regarding the woman who menstruates after the visit (of the Ka'bah) on the Day of Sacrifice, after she has performed the circumambulation (Tawaf) of the House. Zayd said: "Her last act must be the circumambulation of the House." Ibn 'Abbas said: "She may depart if she wishes." The Ansar said: "We will not follow you, O Ibn 'Abbas, while you contradict Zayd." He said: "Then ask your companion, Umm Sulaym." She said: "I menstruated after I had performed the circumambulation of the House on the Day of Sacrifice, and the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) commanded me to depart." Safiyyah also menstruated, and 'Aishah said to her: "Woe to you, you are detaining us!" This was mentioned to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), and he said: "Tell her to depart."
حدثنا عبد الصمد، حدثنا هشام، عن قتادة، عن عكرمة، قال إن زيد بن ثابت وابن عباس اختلفا في المرأة تحيض بعد الزيارة في يوم النحر بعدما طافت بالبيت فقال زيد: " يكون آخر عهدها الطواف بالبيت " وقال ابن عباس: " تنفر إن شاءت " فقالت الأنصار : لا نتابعك يا ابن عباس وأنت تخالف زيدا، فقال: فاسألوا صاحبتكم أم سليم فقالت: " حضت بعدما طفت بالبيت يوم النحر فأمرني رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم أن أنفر " وحاضت صفية فقالت لها عائشة: الخيبة لك إنك لحابستنا، فذكر ذلك للنبي صلى الله عليه وسلم فقال " مروها فلتنفر "
