Hadith 1209:6
Abu al-Mughirah narrated to us, he said: al-Awza'i narrated to us, he said: Ishaq ibn Abdullah ibn Abi Talhah al-Ansari narrated to me, from his grandmother Umm Sulaym, she said: She was a neighbor of Umm Salamah, the wife of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, and she used to visit her. The Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, entered, and Umm Sulaym said: "O Messenger of God, what is your view if a woman sees that her husband is having intercourse with her in a dream, must she perform ghusl (ritual bath)?" Umm Salamah said: "May your hands be covered in dust, O Umm Sulaym! You have disgraced the women in the presence of the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace." Umm Sulaym said: "Indeed, God is not ashamed of the truth. And for us to ask the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, about what is unclear to us is better than for us to remain in blindness regarding it." The Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, said to Umm Salamah: "Rather, it is you whose hands should be covered in dust. Yes, O Umm Sulaym: 'She must perform ghusl if she finds the fluid.'" Umm Salamah said: "O Messenger of God, does a woman have fluid?" The Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: "Then from where does her child resemble her? They are the counterparts of men."
حدثنا أبو المغيرة، قال: حدثنا الأوزاعي، قال: حدثني إسحاق بن عبد الله بن أبي طلحة الأنصاري، عن جدته أم سليم، قالت: كانت مجاورة أم سلمة زوج النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم، فكانت تدخل عليها، فدخل النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم، فقالت أم سليم: يا رسول الله أرأيت إذا رأت المرأة أن زوجها يجامعها في المنام أتغتسل؟ فقالت أم سلمة: تربت يداك يا أم سليم، فضحت النساء عند رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم، فقالت أم سليم: إن الله لا يستحي من الحق، وإنا إن نسأل النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم، عما أشكل علينا خير، من أن نكون منه على عمياء، فقال النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم لأم سلمة: بل أنت تربت يداك، نعم يا أم سليم: " عليها الغسل إذا وجدت الماء "، فقالت أم سلمة: يا رسول الله وهل للمرأة ماء، فقال النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم: " فأنى يشبهها ولدها هن شقائق الرجال "
