Musnad Ahmad 482:104

Hashim narrated to us, Layth narrated to us, from Ibrahim ibn Nashit al-Khawlani, from Ka'b ibn Alqamah, from Abu al-Haytham, from Dukhayn, the scribe of Uqbah ibn Amir, who said: I said to Uqbah: "We have neighbors who drink wine, and I am going to call the police (al-shurtah) upon them so that they may seize them." He said: "Do not do that, but advise them and threaten them." He said: So he did, but they did not desist. He said: Then Dukhayn came to him and said: "I advised them, but they did not desist, and I am going to call the police upon them." Uqbah said: "Woe to you, do not do it, for I heard the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, say: 'Whoever conceals the nakedness (fault/shame) of a believer, it is as if he has brought a buried infant girl back to life from her grave.'"
