Musnad Ahmad 482:20

Yahya ibn Ghaylan narrated to us, he said: Rishdin, meaning Ibn Sa’d, narrated to us, he said: ‘Amr, meaning Ibn al-Harith, narrated to me, from Abu ‘Ushaynah, that he heard ‘Uqbah ibn ‘Amir informing about the Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace): That he used to forbid the people from gold ornaments and silk, and he would say: "If you wish for the ornaments of Paradise and its silk, then do not wear them in the world."
