Musnad Ahmad 482:40

Hassan narrated to us, Ibn Lahi'ah narrated to us, Bakr ibn Suwadah narrated to us, from Abu Sa'id Ja'thal al-Qatabani, from Abu Tamim al-Jayshani, from Uqbah ibn Amir: That the sister of Uqbah made a vow regarding a son of hers, that she would perform Hajj barefoot and without a head covering. This reached the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, and he said: "Let her perform Hajj riding and covered, and let her fast."
