Hadith of Uqbah ibn Amir al-Juhani (RA) from the Prophet (SAW)
حديث عقبة بن عامر الجهني (1) عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم
Hadith 482:66
'Abd al-Samad narrated to us, Hisham narrated to us, from Qatadah, from Qays al-Judhami, from 'Uqbah ibn 'Amir al-Juhani, that the Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) said: "Whoever frees a Muslim slave, it is his ransom from the Fire."
حدثنا عبد الصمد، حدثنا هشام، عن قتادة، عن قيس الجذامي، عن عقبة بن عامر الجهني، أن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم قال: " من أعتق رقبة مسلمة، فهي فداؤه من النار "
