'Abd al-Rahman ibn Mahdi narrated to us, he said: I heard Musa ibn 'Ali ibn Rabah al-Lakhmi saying: I heard my father saying: I heard 'Uqbah ibn 'Amir saying: "There were three times during which the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, would forbid us from praying and from burying our dead: when the sun rises, appearing until it ascends; at the time of the midday zenith until the sun inclines; and when it leans toward setting until it sets."
