Hadith of Urwah ibn Mudarris ibn Aws ibn Harithah ibn Lam (RA)

حديث عروة بن مضرس بن أوس بن حارثة بن لام

Hadith 291:0

Narrated to us by Hisham ibn Ammar, narrated to us by Yahya ibn Hamzah, narrated to us by al-Awza’i, from ‘Abd al-Rahman ibn al-Qasim, from his father, from ‘Aishah, from ‘Urwah ibn Mudarris ibn Aws ibn Harithah ibn Lam, who said: I came to the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) at al-Muzdalifah when he went out for the prayer. I said: "O Messenger of Allah, I have come from the mountains of Tayy. I have exhausted my mount and tired myself. By Allah, I have not left any hill except that I have stood upon it. So is there any Hajj for me?" The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "Whoever witnesses this prayer of ours with us, and stays with us until we depart, and has stood at ‘Arafat before that, by night or by day, then he has completed his Hajj and fulfilled his rites."
