Hadith of Usamah bin Zayd, the beloved of the Messenger of Allah (SAW)
حديث أسامة بن زيد حب رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم
Hadith 941:53
'Abd al-Samad narrated to us, Dawud ibn Abi al-Furat narrated to us, from Ibrahim—meaning al-Sa'igh—from 'Ata', from Ibn 'Abbas: Usamah ibn Zayd narrated to me that the Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) said: "Riba (usury) is in the delay (al-nasi'ah)."
حدثنا عبد الصمد، حدثنا داود بن أبي الفرات، عن إبراهيم يعني الصائغ، عن عطاء، عن ابن عباس، حدثني أسامة بن زيد، أن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم قال: " الربا في النسيئة "
