Hadith of Usamah bin Zayd, the beloved of the Messenger of Allah (SAW)
حديث أسامة بن زيد حب رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم
Hadith 941:61
Abu Kamil narrated to us, Hammad narrated to us, from Qays ibn Sa’d, from ‘Ata’, from Ibn ‘Abbas, from Usamah ibn Zayd, who said: The Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) departed from ‘Arafah while I was riding behind him. He began to restrain his she-camel until its head was almost touching the front of the saddle, while he was saying: "O people, upon you is tranquility and dignity, for righteousness is not in the rushing of the camels."
حدثنا أبو كامل، حدثنا حماد، عن قيس بن سعد، عن عطاء، عن ابن عباس، عن أسامة بن زيد، قال: أفاض رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم من عرفة وأنا رديفه، فجعل يكبح راحلته حتى أن ذفراها لتكاد تصيب قادمة الرحل، وهو يقول: " يا أيها الناس، عليكم السكينة والوقار، فإن البر ليس في إيضاع الإبل "
