Musnad Ahmad 941:64

'Abd al-Razzaq narrated to us, Ma'mar narrated to us, from al-Zuhri, from 'Amir ibn Sa'd ibn Abi Waqqas, from Usama ibn Zayd, who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Indeed, this plague is a punishment with which Allah destroyed the nations before you. Some of it has remained on the earth; it comes at times and goes at times. So if it occurs in a land, do not depart from it, and if you hear of it in a land, do not go to it."
