Hadith 766:6
Muhammad ibn Muqatil al-Marwazi narrated to us, 'Abbad ibn al-'Awwam informed us, al-Hajjaj narrated to us, from 'Abdullah ibn 'Abdullah, the freed slave of Banu Hashim—and he said: "He was trustworthy," and he said: "Al-Hakam used to take [hadith] from him"—from 'Abd al-Rahman ibn Abi Layla, from Usayd ibn Hudayr, from the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, that he was asked about the milk of camels? He said: "Perform ablution from their milk." And he was asked about the milk of sheep? He said: "Do not perform ablution from their milk."
حدثنا محمد بن مقاتل المروزي، أخبرنا عباد بن العوام، حدثنا الحجاج، عن عبد الله بن عبد الله مولى بني هاشم قال: وكان ثقة، قال: وكان الحكم يأخذ عنه، عن عبد الرحمن بن أبي ليلى، عن أسيد بن حضير، عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم أنه سئل عن ألبان الإبل؟ قال: " توضئوا من ألبانها ". وسئل عن ألبان الغنم؟ فقال: " لا توضئوا من ألبانها "
