Musnad Ahmad 529:19

Haytham ibn Kharijah narrated to us, Isma'il ibn 'Ayyash informed us, from 'Aqil ibn Mudrik al-Sulami, from Luqman ibn 'Amir al-Wasabi, from 'Utbah ibn 'Abd al-Sulami, who said: "I asked the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, for clothing, so he clothed me with two coarse garments. I have seen myself wearing them, and I was among the best-clothed of my companions."
