'Affan narrated to us, Hammad ibn Salamah narrated to us, 'Ali ibn Zayd narrated to us, from Abu Nadrah, who said: We came to 'Uthman ibn Abi al-'As to compare a copy of the Mushaf we had with his Mushaf. He mentioned its meaning, except that he said: "And there will be nothing on that day that will protect anyone among them." And he said: "It will melt just as lead melts."
