Hadith 687:13
Yunus ibn Muhammad narrated to us, 'Abd al-Wahid narrated to us, 'Asim ibn Kulayb narrated to us, from his father, from Wa'il ibn Hujr al-Hadrami, who said: I came to the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, and said: "I will surely watch how he prays." He said: "So he faced the Qibla, then said the takbir, and raised his hands until they were level with his shoulders." He said: "Then he took his left [hand] with his right [hand]." He said: "When he intended to bow, he raised his hands until they were level with his shoulders. When he bowed, he placed his hands on his knees. When he raised his head from bowing, he raised his hands until they were level with his shoulders. When he prostrated, he placed his hands [at the level] of his face, in that position." "When he sat, he spread out his left leg, placed his left hand on his left knee, placed the edge of his elbow on his right thigh, formed thirty [with his fingers], made a circle with one, and pointed with his index finger."
حدثنا يونس بن محمد، حدثنا عبد الواحد، حدثنا عاصم بن كليب، عن أبيه، عن وائل بن حجر الحضرمي قال: أتيت النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم فقلت: لأنظرن كيف يصلي، قال: " فاستقبل القبلة، فكبر، ورفع يديه حتى كانتا حذو منكبيه "، قال: " ثم أخذ شماله بيمينه "، قال: " فلما أراد أن يركع رفع يديه حتى كانتا حذو منكبيه، فلما ركع وضع يديه على ركبتيه، فلما رفع رأسه من الركوع رفع يديه حتى كانتا حذو منكبيه، فلما سجد وضع يديه من وجهه، بذلك الموضع، فلما قعد افترش رجله اليسرى، ووضع يده اليسرى على ركبته اليسرى، ووضع حد مرفقه على فخذه اليمنى، وعقد ثلاثين وحلق واحدة، وأشار بإصبعه السبابة "
