Hadith 687:16
Muhammad ibn Ja‘far narrated to us, Shu‘bah narrated to us, from ‘Amr ibn Murrah, who said: I heard Abu al-Bakhtari al-Ta’i narrating from ‘Abd al-Rahman ibn al-Yahsubi, from Wa’il ibn Hujr al-Hadrami, "that he prayed with the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, and he would say the takbir when he lowered [himself] and when he raised [himself], and he would raise his hands at the takbir, and he would say the taslim to his right and to his left." Shu‘bah said: Aban—meaning ibn Taghlib—said to me regarding the hadith: "until the whiteness of his face appeared." So I said to ‘Amr: "Is 'until the whiteness of his face appeared' in the hadith?" ‘Amr said: "Or something similar."
حدثنا محمد بن جعفر، حدثنا شعبة، عن عمرو بن مرة، قال: سمعت أبا البختري الطائي يحدث، عن عبد الرحمن بن اليحصبي، عن وائل بن حجر الحضرمي، " أنه صلى مع رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم، فكان يكبر إذا خفض، وإذا رفع، ويرفع يديه عند التكبير، ويسلم عن يمينه وعن يساره "، قال شعبة: قال لي أبان يعني ابن تغلب، في الحديث: حتى يبدو وضح وجهه، فقلت لعمرو أفي الحديث حتى يبدو وضح وجهه، فقال عمرو: أو نحو ذلك
