Hadith 687:33
'Abd al-Samad narrated to us, Za'idah narrated to us, 'Asim ibn Kulayb narrated to us, my father informed me, that Wa'il ibn Hujr al-Hadrami informed him, he said: I said: "I will surely look at the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, how he prays." He said: So I looked at him. He stood and said the takbir, and raised his hands until they were level with his ears. Then he placed his right hand upon the back of his left hand, the wrist, and the forearm. Then he said: When he intended to bow, he raised his hands similarly and placed his hands on his knees. Then he raised his head, and he raised his hands similarly. Then he prostrated, and he placed his palms level with his ears. Then he sat and spread out his left leg, and placed his left palm on his left thigh and knee, and placed the edge of his right elbow on his right thigh. Then he closed his fingers and made a circle, then he raised his finger, and I saw him moving it, supplicating with it. Then I came after that in a time in which there was cold, and I saw the people wearing garments, their hands moving from beneath the garments due to the cold.
حدثنا عبد الصمد، حدثنا زائدة، حدثنا عاصم بن كليب، أخبرني أبي، أن وائل بن حجر الحضرمي، أخبره قال: قلت: لأنظرن إلى رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم، كيف يصلي؟ قال: فنظرت إليه قام فكبر، ورفع يديه حتى حاذتا أذنيه، ثم وضع يده اليمنى على ظهر كفه اليسرى، والرسغ والساعد، ثم قال: لما أراد أن يركع، رفع يديه مثلها ووضع يديه على ركبتيه، ثم رفع رأسه، فرفع يديه مثلها، ثم سجد، فجعل كفيه بحذاء أذنيه، ثم قعد فافترش رجله اليسرى، فوضع كفه اليسرى على فخذه وركبته اليسرى، وجعل حد مرفقه الأيمن على فخذه اليمنى، ثم قبض بين أصابعه فحلق حلقة، ثم رفع إصبعه، فرأيته يحركها يدعو بها "، ثم جئت بعد ذلك في زمان فيه برد فرأيت الناس عليهم الثياب تحرك أيديهم من تحت الثياب من البرد " . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
