Hadith 687:34
Abdullah ibn al-Walid narrated to us, Sufyan narrated to me, from Asim ibn Kulayb, from his father, from Wa'il ibn Hujr, who said: "I saw the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, when he said the takbir, he raised his hands level with his ears. Then, when he bowed, and when he said, 'Allah hears those who praise Him,' he raised his hands. And I saw him holding his right hand over his left hand in the prayer. When he sat, he formed a circle with his middle finger and thumb, and pointed with his index finger, and he placed his right hand on his right thigh, and he placed his left hand on his left thigh."
حدثنا عبد الله بن الوليد، حدثني سفيان، عن عاصم بن كليب، عن أبيه، عن وائل بن حجر قال: " رأيت النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم حين كبر، رفع يديه حذاء أذنيه، ثم حين ركع، ثم حين قال: سمع الله لمن حمده، رفع يديه، ورأيته ممسكا يمينه على شماله في الصلاة، فلما جلس حلق بالوسطى والإبهام وأشار بالسبابة، ووضع يده اليمنى على فخذه اليمنى، ووضع يده اليسرى على فخذه اليسرى "
