Hadith 687:41
Aswad ibn Amir narrated to us, Shu'bah narrated to us, from 'Asim ibn Kulayb, who said: I heard my father narrating from Wa'il ibn Hujr al-Hadrami, that he saw the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, and he mentioned it, and he said in it: "And he placed his right hand upon his left." He said: And Shu'bah added in it another time: "Then when he was in the bowing (ruku'), he placed his hands upon his knees, and he kept his elbows away from his sides during the bowing."
حدثنا أسود بن عامر، حدثنا شعبة، عن عاصم بن كليب قال: سمعت أبي يحدث، عن وائل بن حجر الحضرمي، أنه رأى رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم، فذكره، وقال فيه: ووضع يده اليمنى على اليسرى قال: وزاد فيه شعبة مرة أخرى: فلما كان في الركوع وضع يديه على ركبتيه، وجافى في الركوع
