Musnad Ahmad 447:4
Hadith of Wathila ibn al-Asqa (RA) "also repeated in the Meccan and Medinan [collections], except for some hadiths which I have established here, while the rest are in the Meccan and Medinan [collections]."
حديث واثلة بن الأسقع " معاد أيضا في المكيين والمدنيين (1) إلا أحاديث منها قد أثبتها هاهنا، وباقيها في المكيين والمدنيين "
Hadith 447:4
Yazid ibn Abd Rabbih narrated to us, he said: Muhammad ibn Harb al-Khawlani narrated to us, he said: Umar ibn Ru’bah narrated to me, he said: I heard Abd al-Wahid al-Nasri saying: I heard Wathilah ibn al-Asqa’ mentioning that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "The woman inherits three inheritances: her freed slave, her foundling, and the child whom she performed *li'an* (oath of imprecation) over."
حدثنا يزيد بن عبد ربه، قال: حدثنا محمد بن حرب الخولاني، قال: حدثني عمر بن رؤبة، قال: سمعت عبد الواحد النصري، يقول: سمعت واثلة بن الأسقع، يذكر أن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم قال: " المرأة تحوز ثلاثة مواريث: عتيقها، ولقيطها، والولد الذي لاعنت عليه "
