Hadith 1293:1
Yazid ibn Harun narrated to us, Muhammad ibn Ishaq informed us, from Ibn Damra ibn Sa'id, from his grandmother, from a woman of their women—who had prayed toward the two qiblas with the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace—she said: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, entered upon me and said: "Apply henna. Does one of you leave henna until her hand is like the hand of a man?" She said: So she did not leave henna until she met God the Exalted, even though she would apply henna while she was eighty years old.
حدثنا يزيد بن هارون، أخبرنا محمد بن إسحاق، عن ابن ضمرة بن سعيد، عن جدته، عن امرأة، من نسائهم - وكانت قد صلت القبلتين مع النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم - قالت: دخل علي رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم فقال: " اختضبي تترك إحداكن الخضاب حتى تكون يدها كيد الرجل " " قالت: فما تركت الخضاب حتى لقيت الله تعالى وإن كانت لتختضب وهي بنت ثمانين "
