Hadith 400:1
Yazid ibn Harun narrated to us, he said: Muhammad ibn Ishaq informed us, from Ibn Damrah ibn Sa'id, from his grandmother, from a woman of their women, she said: And she had prayed towards the two qiblahs with the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace. She said: The Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, entered upon me and said to me: "Apply henna (dye), for one of you might leave the henna until her hand becomes like the hand of a man." She said: So I did not leave the henna until I met Allah, the Almighty and Majestic, even though she would apply henna while she was eighty years old.
حدثنا يزيد بن هارون، قال: أخبرنا محمد بن إسحاق، عن ابن ضمرة بن سعيد، عن جدته، عن امرأة من نسائهم قال: وقد كانت صلت القبلتين مع رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم قالت: دخل علي رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم فقال لي: " اختضبي، تترك إحداكن الخضاب حتى تكون يدها كيد الرجل "، قالت: فما تركت الخضاب حتى لقيت الله عز وجل، وإن كانت لتختضب وإنها لابنة ثمانين
