Sa'id ibn Khuthaym Abu Ma'mar al-Hilali narrated to us, my grandmother Rubay'ah bint 'Iyad al-Kilabiyyah narrated to me, she said: I heard Ali saying: "Eat the pomegranate with its pith, for it is a tanning agent for the stomach." *** Mu'tamir ibn Sulayman narrated to us, from Sabah, from Ashras, he said: Ibn Abbas was asked about the tide and the ebb, and he said: "An angel is appointed over the reservoir of the sea; when he places his foot, it overflows, and when he lifts it, it recedes." And [Abdullah ibn Ahmad] said: Ibrahim ibn Dinar narrated to me, Salih ibn Sabah narrated to us, from his father, from Ashras, from Ibn Abbas, the like of it.
