Hadith 969:1
Abu Abd al-Rahman—meaning al-Muqri—narrated to us, Sa’id—meaning Ibn Abi Ayyub—narrated to us, Abu ‘Isa al-Khurasani narrated to me, from ‘Abdullah ibn al-Qasim, who said: A neighbor of the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, narrated to me that she used to hear the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, saying at the break of dawn: "O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the punishment of the grave, and from the trial of the grave." Abu ‘Isa said: So I said to ‘Abdullah: "Have you considered if a person combines them?" He said: He said that the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said: "Whatever he said."
حدثنا أبو عبد الرحمن يعني المقرئ، حدثنا سعيد يعني ابن أبي أيوب، حدثني أبو عيسى الخراساني، عن عبد الله بن القاسم قال: حدثتني جارة للنبي صلى الله عليه وسلم: أنها كانت تسمع رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم يقول عند طلوع الفجر: " اللهم إني أعوذ بك من عذاب القبر، ومن فتنة القبر " قال أبو عيسى: فقلت لعبد الله: أرأيت إن جمعهما إنسان؟ قال فقال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: ما قال
