Musnad Ahmad 509:1

Abdullah ibn Numayr narrated to us, from Uthman ibn Hakim, who said: Abd al-Rahman ibn Abd al-Aziz informed me, from Ya’la ibn Murrah, who said: I have indeed seen three things from the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) that no one before me has seen, and no one after me will see. I went out with him on a journey until, when we were on part of the road, we passed by a woman sitting with a young son of hers. She said: "O Messenger of Allah, this is a young boy who has been afflicted with a trial, and we have been afflicted by it; he is seized [by fits] in the day, I do not know how many times." He said: "Hand him to me." She lifted him to him, and he placed him between himself and the middle of the saddle. Then he opened his mouth and blew into it three times, and said: "In the name of Allah, I am the servant of Allah, be driven away, O enemy of Allah." Then he handed him back to her and said: "Meet us on the return journey at this place, and inform us what happened." He said: We went and returned, and we found her in that place with three sheep. He said: "What happened to your son?" She said: "By the One who sent you with the truth, we have not sensed anything from him until this hour, and I have brought these sheep." He said: "Dismount and take one of them, and return the rest." He said: We went out one day to the open field, and when we reached the open space, he said: "Look, woe to you, do you see anything that will conceal me?" I said: "I do not see anything that will conceal you except a tree, and I do not think it will conceal you." He said: "And what is near it?" I said: "A tree like it, or close to it." He said: "Go to them both and say: 'The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) commands you both to come together by the permission of Allah.'" He said: So they came together, and he went out to relieve himself, then he returned and said: "Go to them and say to them: 'The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) commands you both that each of you should return to your place.'" He said: I was sitting with him one day when a camel came trotting until it struck its chest against the ground before him, and its eyes shed tears. He said: "Woe to you, look to see whose camel this is; it has a matter of importance." He said: I went out seeking its owner, and I found it belonged to a man from the Ansar. I called him to it, and he said: "What is the matter with this camel of yours?" He said: "And what is its matter?" He said: "I do not know, by Allah, what its matter is. We worked it and used it for irrigation until it became incapable of carrying water, so we decided last night to slaughter it and distribute its meat." He said: "Do not do that; give it to me or sell it to me." He said: "Rather, it is yours, O Messenger of Allah." He said: So he marked it with the mark of charity, then he sent it away.
